Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to speak to national troops in the Donetsk region on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he consulted warriors at the military base of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya area, a town approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.

Intense Conditions in the Region

Geospatial data from a national effort indicated that invading troops had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it remained beyond firm control by both forces. The status is precarious, with accounts indicating that Russian forces were digging in and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Invading troops continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with increasing comfort within the city proper.

Research institutes commented that Ukrainian forces had liberated a significant portion of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya area, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk campaign.

Kyiv's Drone Strikes Inside Russia

Kyiv's aerial vehicles struck a factory approximately over 800 miles inside Russia at the city. City administration announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that caused its water treatment facility to suffer damage, adding that the origin of the detonation was undetermined. The national defense command stated there was considerable damage to the plant.

Ukraine's military confirmed attacking a fuel processing plant at the city in the federal district in central Russia. The extent of the damage was currently analyzed. The Russian regional governor acknowledged a strike by 20 drones near Kstovo.

National guard personnel will now have to guard oil refineries against unmanned assaults after the Russian leader enacted a decree on the start of the week increasing their involvement in the war effort.
