Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
