Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
